Preface to Book 1:

By: Richard G. Wilkins Director, J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and Managing Director of the World Family Policy Forum

"I have taught constitutional law for 20 years. One of my most profound regrets is that, even at the Nation's leading law schools, students do not study the original documents that surround the creation of our Constitution, feel the richness of the materials our founders consulted, or understand depth and richness of the Founder's experience and knowledge. This set of materials makes that essential material accessible -- not only to lawyers, politicians and judges (who, above all, should be conversant with this crucial foundation) -- but to junior high and high school students. These books should be an essential part of the training of every American student.

"This country must reinvigorate its sense of mission, destiny, civic virtue and liberty. These important tasks are best done by understanding how and why the Founders instilled those values in a way that has stood for over 200 years. That these values are waning today does not demonstrate that they have failed, but rather that we have failed to nurture them.

"Mary Mostert's materials may be the most significant contribution I have yet seen to bring America's civic culture back to vigorous and healthy life. America's youth are America's future.

"Mary's materials can give those youth -- and America -- a much brighter future by reacquainting them with the wisdom and profound understanding of its blessed past."

Reader Comments

“Very interesting. This book makes History very ‘real’ to the reader.”
Katie Etcitty, Student Utah Valley State College

“The information is great. I feel like every American should understand most of it. The footnotes started me on a whole new path of learning.”
Ben Pearson, Student Utah Valley State College

“I feel like a deep hole in my education was being filled. I wish I had written and delivered Patrick Henry’s stirring speech. Your book reads as though it is an adventurous novel.”
Ragnar Liljequist, retired advertising account executive

"In the spirit of the founding fathers who wanted to put government in the hands of the governed, Mary has put history in the hands of the people who want to study history. While most historians quote earlier historians, truer evaluation can be made now by any who are interested in original sources and the earliest possible interpretation of the facts. We are now thrust into a whole new era of appreciation for times past and the marvelous times present that let us look at these documents in the comfort of our own homes."

Carol Grass Winkler, Educator

“This book helps understand the starting of our country. There were people and stories I have never heard before and I know it would the same of other people out there.”
Sally Fix, Student, Utah Valley State College

“It renews your understanding of the incredible events surrounding the founding of this nation.”
Dorothy Miner, former elementary teacher, musician

“Every person in this country owes it to themselves and future generations to read and study this book. It could certainly turn this country around.”
Dennis Lisonbee, Award Winning film editor and director, Multimedia Communication Technology Utah Valley State College

Reader Comments on Book 2: The Threat of Anarchy Leads to the Constitution of the United States

I have read Mrs. Mostert's book 2 on the Constitution. I strongly recommend everybody read it. It is factual, truthful, profound, and backed up with considerable references. It covers the fundamental issues of what, why, how, etc. the Constitution was developed. She carries those fundamental issues up to the present time.

One of the key issues covered is the debate back then, along with the debate today, about the difference between; UNalienable rights vs.. INalienable rights. Every citizen should be required to know the difference. Our Constitution was based on UNalienable rights, and was strongly believed by the founding fathers. France and other socialists countries are based on INalienable rights. The difference is profound. Learn the difference by reading her book by reading the last chapter first.

Today, this country is in a war with itself over keeping our UNalieanble rights or changing it to INalienable rights. That difference has this country divided between Red & Blue states. Most of the policy/decision makers of the "Information Process" (i.e. NYT, CBS, ACLU, NEA, DNC, Hollywood, etc. etc. etc. etc.) believe and promote an INalienable agenda. That agenda leads to "anarchy".

Please read this book. The Information Process will try to deny you access to it, and/or try to discredit it.

Len Posa, retired Communications Security Consultant.

Richard G. Wilkins, Professor of Law and Managing Director of the World Family Policy Center, J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University

“The thing that struck me in reading the details of the Revolutionary War is the frightening similarity of  Washington trying to fight the war with short term volunteers and the USA today trying to fight an over-seas war with National Guard and Reserves.”

Thom Hinckley, Former US Air Force Captain & AF Academy Instructor

“To fully appreciate America's Constitution, it is important that we review the events, men and factions which existed prior to the ratification of this unique document; they are as important to understanding our country and our law as is the Constitution itself. In "The Threat of Anarchy...", Mary Mostert describes why our Constitution is superior to those of other nations, and makes this book a must read for all Americans and students of U.S. history.”

Ragnar Liljequist, Ret.. Director of Planning & Research for Telecommunications Co.

“This country was founded on Prayer. With today’s political views on Prayer in School and Prayer in the Government, it is refreshing to see Mary fighting for the Moral Grace of this Country. This book is a must for both educators and citizens alike.”

Peter Dominy, CEO,  Friberg Fine Art

“I like the way this book is written. It is like having a conversation with the people who lived back then, or having them talk to me personally, rather than just reading about them. And, I like the fact that there are hundreds of online footnotes that can take me to information about what really happened during the American Revolution, the Constitutional Convention and George Washington’s presidency.”

Jeffrey Moore, Student, Southern Virginia University
