One of the key issues covered is the debate back then, along with the debate today, about the difference between; UNalienable rights vs.. INalienable rights. Every citizen should be required to know the difference. Our Constitution was based on UNalienable rights, and was strongly believed by the founding fathers. France and other socialists countries are based on INalienable rights.
The difference is profound. Learn the difference by reading her book by reading the last chapter first.
Today, this country is in a war with itself over keeping our UNalieanble rights or changing it to INalienable rights. That difference has this country divided between Red & Blue states. Most of the policy/decision makers of the "Information Process" (i.e. NYT, CBS, ACLU, NEA, DNC, Hollywood, etc. etc. etc. etc.) believe and promote an INalienable agenda. That agenda leads to "anarchy".
Please read this book. The Information Process will try to deny you access to it, and/or try to discredit it.
"I have taught constitutional law for 20 years. One of my most profound regrets is that, even at the Nation's leading law schools, students do not study the original documents that surround the creation of our Constitution, feel the richness of the materials our Founders consulted, or understand the depth and richness of the Founders' experience and knowledge.
This set of materials makes that essential material accessible-not only to lawyers, politicians, and judges (who above all, should be conversant with this crucial foundation) - but to students. Mary's books should be an essential part of the training of every American. "
“The thing that struck me in reading the details of the Revolutionary War is the frightening similarity of Washington trying to fight the war with short term volunteers and the USA today trying to fight an over-seas war with National Guard and Reserves.”
“To fully appreciate America's Constitution, it is important that we review the events, men and factions which existed prior to the ratification of this unique document; they are as important to understanding our country and our law as is the Constitution itself. In "The Threat of Anarchy...", Mary Mostert describes why our Constitution is superior to those of other nations, and makes this book a must read for all Americans and students of U.S. history.”
“This country was founded on Prayer. With today’s political views on Prayer in School and Prayer in the Government, it is refreshing to see Mary fighting for the Moral Grace of this Country. This book is a must for both educators and citizens alike.”
“I like the way this book is written. It is like having a conversation with the people who lived back then, or having them talk to me personally, rather than just reading about them. And, I like the fact that there are hundreds of online footnotes that can take me to information about what really happened during the American Revolution, the Constitutional Convention and George Washington’s presidency.”
I have read Mrs. Mostert's book 2 on the Constitution. I strongly recommend everybody read it.
It is factual, truthful, profound, and backed up with considerable references.
It covers the fundamental issues of what, why, how, etc. the Constitution was developed. She carries those fundamental issues up to the present time.
